I didn’t arrive here by accident —I arrived here by awakening.

My body was whispering, then screaming. Acne, digestive distress, depression, and a complicated relationship with food forced me to confront a truth I could no longer ignore: something had to change. I began searching—not just for relief, but for a solution. That search led me to a plant-based diet, but more importantly, it led me to a more aligned version of myself.

This journey unfolded in chapters. A moment of reckoning watching Meet Your Meat. A paradigm shift after reading The China Study. The slow, intentional release of old habits—yes, even cheese, long before there were luxurious alternatives waiting on store shelves. There were missteps, lessons, and evolution. But through it all, the most transformative practice was compassion—first for myself, and then for every living being.

My path was not linear, and I honor that it rarely is. Change doesn’t come from shame—it comes from inspiration. From being seen. From being supported. That is the energy I carry forward: to lead, not by judgment, but by example.

Everything crystallized during my time volunteering on an eco-farm. One afternoon, from mid-day, through the dark evening, I heard the cries of mother cows calling out for their stolen babies—hour after hour, well into the morning. That sound changed me forever. In that moment, I knew: I would not be silent. I would be a voice.

But as I evolved, I faced another truth—one that lived in my closet. Letting go of leather, of luxury items that once symbolized success, became one of the most confronting transitions of all. Because I realized: fashion had normalized cruelty, and I could no longer wear that contradiction.

So I asked a new question—one that would become my mission:

What if elegance didn’t require suffering?

What if luxury could be compassionate?

What if fashion could be activism?

That question became my calling.
